I was born in 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have a family of six people including one older brother, one older sister, one younger sister and myself. My hobbies widely vary. I love to listen to music as well as play music. I have played the drums for 10 years, and am still studying music. I like activities such as basketball, soccer, skateboarding, and snowboarding. I like to think of myself as a very active person. When I was nineteen years of age, I traveled to Taiwan as a missionary and led Gospel discussions for two years. Learning how to speak Chinese was a necessity to my purpose while living in Taiwan. I grew to love the Chinese culture and Chinese history. Thereafter, I continued my studies in the Chinese language by myself. When I returned to the states I moved to the east coast of America where Americanized-Chinese restaurants were somewhat popular. Every chance I had, I would Practice using mandarin with the waiters and waitresses. I later received an E-Mail about teaching English In China for a set amount of time. My timetable allowed me to teach English before my college began. This experience will help me with my career and other opportunities as well.
