				I visited China for three days about 7 years ago and have always wanted to come back. 

    So when I was offered a job at Anqing Foreign Language School, I leapt at the chance. I didn’t know anything about Anhui or Anqing, but I know now I made a very good choice. The city is so green, with beautiful lakes and rivers that I already feel very at home here. 
    

    The people I have met have all been so friendly and generous that it has really made me want to learn Chinese so I can talk to them without using my phone to translate…
    

    All of the other teachers at AFLS have been really helpful to me; especially the wonderful Helen! My students are very nice and friendly and I am enjoying teaching them. BUT: they are not talkative enough enough for my liking!!! I am determined this will change by the end of the year!
